Oscar Gonzalez is a current MFA graduate student at the University of Kansas, under the print mentorship of Yoonmi Nam and Shawn Bitters. He is an interdisciplinary artist and designer whose research explores family narratives, archives, memory, and grief through the lens of his experience as a first-generation Mexican American. Oscar’s broader scholarly interests also extend into queer ecologies and environmentally engaged art practices.
