Oscar Gonzalez is a current MFA graduate student at the University of Kansas, under the print mentorship of Yoonmi Nam and Shawn Bitters. His research explores family narratives, archives, memory, and grief as a first-generation Mexican American. Oscar has broader scholarly interests that extend into the realm of queer ecologies and environmentally engaged art practices.
